It started with wet shoes
In 2011, there was a bunch of shoe enthusiasts who got tired of wearing sneakers that were developed for warmer regions and not adapted to the wet weather conditions we have here in Norway. Up to this point, the only option we had was to go with wet sneakers or sturdy boots. One lacked protection from the wet cold weather, and the other lacked style. Therefore, they launched Kastel with a goal of making shoes that would give us comfort and protection without having to sacrifice style.
