The Design

The Materials

A dress is never better than the fabric it’s made from. That’s why we always choose quality materials, and we think as much about how a fabric behaves over time as how it looks in the store.

We have a fondness for materials that feel good against the skin and age beautifully. Linen because it breathes, drapes softly, and becomes more beautiful the more it’s worn. Fine knit qualities like pointelle because they add texture and character without being flashy. Denim because it’s durable and shapes itself to the wearer. What they all have in common is that they’re made to be worn, washed, and lived in.

Good materials are also our easiest path to sustainability. A high-quality garment that you actually want to wear for years never needs to be replaced. For us, it’s not about making as much as possible, but about making dresses that last.
